Shipping & Delivery Policy

PROCESSING POLICY

  • Our standard processing time is 1–7 business days.
  • We operate Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 4:00 PM EST (excluding holidays).
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day.
  • Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled.
  • Processing times may be extended during peak periods, including holidays and 4/20.

SHIPPING POLICY

  • We currently only ship within the United States.
  • Orders of $100 or more ship free via USPS.
  • For orders under $100, standard shipping rates apply.
  • We only ship to states where hemp-derived products are legal.
  • Orders to restricted states will be canceled and refunded.
  • Orders not received within 14 days of shipment are eligible for reshipment or refund upon request.

CARRIERS

  • We currently ship with USPS and UPS.
  • Please note that carrier transit times are in addition to our processing time.

ORDER TRACKING

  • If a tracking number is provided by the carrier, we will email you the tracking information.
  • Please allow up to 24 hours after shipping confirmation for tracking updates.
  • If your order is shipped on Friday, please allow up to 2 business days for your tracking to update.

ADDRESS ACCURACY

  • Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address when placing an order.
  • Packages returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses may require additional shipping fees for reshipment.
  • Once an order has been shipped, we cannot update or change the shipping address.

Holiday Operations & Shipping Policy

At Astria Farm, we operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (EST). Our crew works hard year-round to keep orders moving fast and smooth — but the shipping world tends to get a little wild during the holidays.

This policy explains when we’re closed, what to expect during peak season, and how carrier delays may affect your order delivery.

Office & Production Closures

Our facility is closed on weekends and during the following holidays:

  • Independence Day (July 4th)
  • Thanksgiving: Closed Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
  • Christmas: Closed December 24th, 25th, and 26th
  • New Year’s: Closed December 31st and January 1st

Additional closure days may occasionally be added around these holidays to allow our team time with their families. Any changes will be announced in advance on our website or social media.

Shipping During National & Federal Holidays

For most national or government holidays (like Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Juneteenth, and Indigenous Peoples Day), Astria Farm remains open and continues fulfilling and preparing shipments as usual.

However, major carriers — including USPS, UPS, and FedEx — do not operate on these holidays. That means:

  • Orders may still be processed, packed, and labeled,
  • But actual pickup and movement of packages will be delayed until the carrier resumes service.
  • Delivery times may extend by 1–2 business days depending on the holiday and your location.

Peak Season & Carrier Delays (Black Friday – New Year’s)

From late November through early January, all major carriers experience nationwide delays due to heavy package volume.

While Astria Farm continues fulfilling orders daily during this time, transit times are often longer than usual, especially for:

  • Black Friday and Cyber Monday orders
  • Mid-December shipments leading up to Christmas
  • Orders placed between Christmas and New Year’s

Please allow extra time for delivery during these periods. We recommend:

  • Ordering early if you need products by a specific date,
  • Upgrading to expedited shipping where available, and
  • Using your tracking number to monitor delivery progress.

Once an order leaves our facility, carrier transit times are outside of our control, and we are not responsible for delays caused by USPS, UPS, or FedEx operations.

HOLIDAY OPERATIONS & SHIPPING POLICY — ADDITIONAL 4/20 PROVISIONS (AS ORIGINALLY WRITTEN)

Due to significantly increased order volume, 4/20 (April 20th) is treated as a peak operational holiday. While our facility may remain open, processing and shipping times may be extended.

During high-volume periods, including 4/20 (April 20th) and the holiday season (Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas, New Year):

  • Order volume increases significantly
  • Processing times may extend beyond 1–7 business days
  • Shipping carriers may experience delays

Shipping Zones & Product Restrictions

Astria Farm ships products only to destinations where the sale and shipment are permitted by applicable law. Product availability varies by shipping address, product type, cannabinoid content, and current regulatory requirements.

Texas & Tennessee — Limited Product Availability

Only the following products are eligible for shipment to Texas and Tennessee, subject to our final compliance review:

Products not listed above are unavailable for shipment to Texas. Eligibility applies only to the specific product, strength, and package size listed. Other versions of the same product may be restricted.

THCa Shipping Restrictions

Astria Farm does not ship THCa products to the following states:

Arkansas, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Vermont.

These restrictions apply to all products marketed or sold as THCa products, including flower, pre-rolls, concentrates, and other THCa-containing products.

A state’s absence from this list does not guarantee that every product is eligible for shipment there. Additional restrictions may apply.

Order Review & Shipping Eligibility

All orders are subject to review before shipment. Completing checkout, receiving an order confirmation, or having a payment processed does not guarantee that a product can legally be shipped to the address provided.

Astria Farm reserves the right to decline, hold for compliance review, or cancel all or part of an order when:

  • A product cannot legally be sold or shipped to the destination.
  • Required age, identity, address, or licensing information cannot be verified.
  • A change in law or regulatory requirements affects the order before shipment.
  • A carrier restriction prevents delivery.

We will not substitute a different product or redirect an order to another address without your authorization.

Canceled Orders & Refunds

If we determine that an order cannot legally be shipped, we will notify you using the contact information provided at checkout and cancel the affected items or the entire order.

For a fully canceled, unshipped order, we will promptly refund the full amount paid, including shipping charges and applicable taxes. For a partial cancellation, we will refund the canceled items, associated taxes, and any shipping charges attributable to those items.

No cancellation or restocking fee will apply to items canceled because of shipping restrictions. Refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method. Your financial institution may require additional time to post the credit.

If the remaining items can legally ship, we will notify you of how the partial cancellation affects your order before proceeding.

Customer Information & Policy Updates

Please provide an accurate shipping address and complete any requested verification. Do not use a forwarding service or alternate address to evade shipping restrictions.

Astria Farm is responsible for reviewing orders for compliance before shipment. A customer’s acknowledgment of this policy does not authorize an otherwise prohibited sale or shipment.

Shipping restrictions and product eligibility may change as laws, regulations, and carrier requirements change. The requirements applicable when an order is reviewed and shipped will govern fulfillment.

State Law Compliance & Restricted Shipping Policy

At Astria Farm, we operate fully in compliance with North Carolina state laws and the 2018 Federal Farm Bill (Agricultural Improvement Act). All of our hemp-derived products are tested and verified through third-party laboratories to ensure they contain no more than 0.3% Delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis, as required under federal and North Carolina hemp regulations.

However, hemp and cannabinoid laws vary from state to state, and some states have placed additional restrictions or bans on cannabinoids such as THCA, Delta-8 THC, Delta-10 THC, HHC, and similar hemp-derived compounds.

Because of this, Astria Farm cannot ship certain products to states or territories where those products are restricted or prohibited under local law.

Customer Responsibility

By purchasing from Astria Farm, you agree that:

  • You are at least 21 years old and legally allowed to purchase hemp-derived products in your jurisdiction.
  • You have researched and verified the laws in your state, county, and municipality before placing an order.
  • You understand that hemp and cannabinoid laws change frequently, and it is your responsibility to stay informed.
  • You accept full responsibility for compliance with your local regulations concerning the possession and use of hemp products.
  • You acknowledge that Astria Farm is not responsible or liable for any legal action, seizure, delay, or loss that results from the purchase or shipment of products that are restricted or illegal in your location.

Restricted States for THCA Products

Due to current state laws and enforcement guidance, Astria Farm does not ship THCA products to the following states or territories:

Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Washington.

This list is subject to change without notice as state laws evolve. Orders placed from restricted states may be automatically canceled and refunded.

Our Commitment to Compliance

Astria Farm operates from Asheville, North Carolina, and complies with all North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS) hemp program requirements. We maintain current registrations, licenses, and testing documentation for all hemp-derived materials and products in accordance with NC law.

Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders

Astria Farm reserves the right to:

  • Cancel or refuse any order shipping to a restricted state or territory.
  • Limit or modify the sale of products based on current state regulations.
  • Update this policy at any time to ensure ongoing compliance with changing federal and state laws.

Acceptance of Terms

By completing a purchase on our website, you affirm that you understand and accept this policy, and you assume full responsibility for ensuring compliance with your local and state laws.
